The Conference will be held October 4-6, 2010 at the Isle Casino Hotel and Waterfront Convention Center in Bettendorf, Iowa! The Conference is planned and hosted by the Iowa Recycling Association (IRA) and Iowa Society of Solid Waste Operations (ISOSWO).

Conference Tours Announced
The conference tours, which will take place on Monday, October 4, have just been announced:

• Tour 1: Scott Area Landfill, Linwood Mining and Minerals, Alter Metal Recycling
• Tour 2: Alcoa and Greystone
• Tour 3: Scott Area Recycling Center and Electronic Demanufacturing Facility, City Carton Recycling and Document Destruction, City of Davenport Compost Facility
• Special CAT Tour: This tour would leave around 7 a.m. and return around 5 p.m. It would cover the Peoria-dozer facility along with their demo facility of all the equipment they have. Size is limited.
